GENERAL SITUATION

     
Weather Bulletin
 Issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre Nadi  at 7:30pm on Monday the 16th of April 2012
 

Situation:

 A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain remains over Fiji.
It is expected to gradually weaken and move eastwards away from the group tomorrow.
 
Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group:
  • Occasional rain, heavy at times and few thunderstorms over most   Places.
  • Flooding of low lying areas especially over the main islands.
  • Rain easing from later tomorrow.
  • Moderate easterly winds becoming predominantly  south-easterly from tomorrow.
  • Moderate seas.
